Hi

I need some help with this drive ST3000DM001 FW:CC46 P/N:1ER166-570 DATE:09AUG2017. This drive have a problems of heads, but I have baout 3 months waiting for buy a donor on Ebay or Donnor Drive but theres is not have any otrehr drive like this, I just want to know if someone have a drive like this or know some compatibility whit other donor drive.

If you are trying to search to the exact data, you are likely looking too hard.

ST3000DM001 and the 1st 3 digits of the SN should be enough.

I usually look a hdd with 3 months (up or down) of difference in the date, but even so there is not find any HDD

Then your issue is more than heads, in my opinion. Did you try the patient heads in the donor?

When I receive the drive, this was has a problems that head-stack,

I was unstuck the heads with carefully and I was check the drive and the heads no work, I was try with a donor but this is not compatible,

I returned the heads to the donor and this are working fine.

You still thinking that I should be try change the heads of the patient in the donor?

If the patient heads work in the donor, you know both that they are compatible and that the issue must be with the firmware and/or surface.

I test the patient heads in the donor and doesnt work , and the drive do it the same sound 2 klicks and motor spin off.

Can you upload the ROM of both patient and donor to see if they are compatible or not ?

Did you import adaptives from the donors rom into the patients?
