We also have a intel SSD 330 Series here, still hoping for a solution.

Our SSD is not recognized at all without testpoint shorted,
it just doesn't start.

With testpoint the controller is recognized well.

SandForce-based drives almost disappear from the real recovery market. Single cases per month in our TS dpt - is nothing. So probably it does not make any sense to drive deep on such an ancient CPU researching. If someone needs a real SandForce recovery, there are a few companies with factory Seagate Utilities who can help.

We get an average of two Sandforce per month for recovery, so I wouldn't say they've disappeared..

Northwind Company is one of two companies who can recover SandForce in the whole World, but you get just two SandForce per month.
For example, in TS dpt, we get over 700 SM2259XT/XT2/XT3 requests per month + we didn't recieved a huge number of them because customers are able to solve these drives by themselves, and TS dpt get only requests when default steps didn't help.

I didn't say they're more popular than SM22xx, or even close. I said they've not disappeared.
Also, we don't get many more SF because the procedure is very expensive.
