Yes, that's also a Rosewood AF. Unfortunately, if it gives you that error, it means it's not fully ready to work on ATA because of MC error in firmware. I'm afraid you can't do anything more without unlocking Rom first.

Software updated, but patch did not work. No handshake option. I'll have to contact support.

I must have been doing something wrong with the patch as all rosewood patches are the same. Ts unlocked it using what appeared to be the exact same process as I was using. Handshake appeared right away.
Case is now solved with Media Cache contents preserved with help from TS.

We have similar experience why TS can patch but we cannot, just have cup of coffee and try again. :D
