WD500 2.5" issue

WD500 2.5" issue

hi
i have WD500BEVT 2.5" mariner series.
hdd is detect, but in module directory test i see this modules error:

0033 P-List (Primary defect list)
0034 G-List (Grown defect list)
0032 Relo-List (Candidate defects)
0036 T-List Module

i can't make image in DE,is there any chance to recover DATA?!

Can you read with composite? If no, then read each copy of module with ignore read errors then use Winhex and try to make 1 good file from both copies saved. If possible I guess maybe they will not write to SA if SA is bad, but you can attempt hotswap then if you have good donor for it.

hi again dear AJ.
with dir editor i changed the ABA position of those 4 modules then i tried to read them. i could read them then i saved each modules and rewrite them to the hdd again. still the header's are error after reading in modules directory and i can't reach the sectors in sector editor! :shock:

you can write those modules from another hdd


p list c modules is not important
g , redo list write from another hdd

t list is important but you can test that
