WD20ezrx diablo 3d - Rom Writing error

Hi I have 2tb wd20ezrx-00dc0b0 hdd. I can read the rom and modules sucessfully. the utility detects family diablo-3d.
But editing the head map gives error. is this model supported by the utility?

Heads map............................... : 0,1,2,3,5
ROM Firmware version.................... : 00040027

ROM module 0A writing error Device Error Detected: "FM ERR HEADER II SIGNATURE INVALID"

Also ACE-Lab Resources does not have any resource file for diablo-3d family hdd.

Im not sure that PC3000 can fully read properly this family

and udma supports it as we tested it here on many drives

It supports it but cannot do a lot with it, many functions do not work well for Diablo3D

Then why this error come

Can any one have rom for this family?

Head map edit wont help here, neither will loading LDR, also some modules may not be present as there seem to be some changes in SA .

What are the original symptoms? Does it show ID? What modules shows an error?

It shows id but does not shows the capacity. HDD gives two minor click and stop the motor.

Very likely you have head damage. during POST if gross defect is identified mechanically then spindle will stop. In some other situations, like bad zone table, spindle will stop but no DRD / DSC registers will be active.

In this case, I assume heads are damaged.

I also doubt in head. That's why I would like to disable head in the rom. but utility does not support.

disable head in ROM will not work because this will re-distribute all zones over less heads increasing zones sizes and head-switching / zone to head allocation will both be inaccurate and data will remain inaccessible.

RAM editing for Head Map is not possible on this model either.

You should check it internally, check for visible damage to head stack.

No, it wont. Even on older models, if heads are bad loader will not load
