how to use the UDMA extract the module form track

Dear all,

I have a HDD drive model is WD15EARS-00MVWB0,the disk does not recognize,firmware area

can not access, I have backup hard drive negative track.how use the UDMA extract the module

from the WD HDD track ? how do I read firmware from the track ?

Dear Henry,

To solve this problem, you should open the track by HEX Editor and find required module in tracks.
And you can use word "ROYL" to determine module.
Next byte pair after word "ROYL" is linked with module name.
For example 0C is the name of module.
You should cut the sector of the track with required size.
The size of required module you can find out in the SA of the drive with same drive family (if you have one).

if you can read the tracks , this mean you can find all the modules in "module search in SA "and you can output what you need but one by one . it allow you get the dir module and ata module
