Hi all,

I tried to remove a Password from a MHY2160BH, using Terminal adapter MHV. However, the procedure failed for unknown reason.

Now, the hdd does not give any response at all, any more. (Not even a BSY-Signal when switching on power.)
I examined the PCB, but I did not see any hint for a damage.
Any help, any suggestions?

Check the fuse, connecting the adapter around the wrong way shorts 5V to ground and blows the protective fuse
