MHY2200BH Restricted Mode

Hi everyone,

I have this MHY2200BH, and in the Fujitsu utility is correctly recognized, but it's in Restricted Mode.

I can't do anything because there are no commands in the Tool Menu.
BTW I can access the root in DE but it slowly copies a few data.
If I clone it (forward/reverse) it's very slowly, as to say thousand hours!

Is this maybe a password protected hd? How can I solve it?

It's not PW protected, you wouldn't be able to access any sectors at all if it were.

Is every sector slow or does it follow a pattern?

Hi,

The restricted mode means you have limited access to SA.
The problem you have may be related to heads.
Try to check several areas of the drive in order to find a pattern.

yes I figured out there're problems related to the heads, and also to the surfaces.

Got a few data recovered, then i didn't have no more access.

restricted mode, doesnt means its not fully supported yet, ? i test good disks and same answer, and u dont get fully, access to check SA for example
