Hi,
I have a Crucial X9 based on Phison PS2251-17-43 controller, it doesn't show up at all in Device Manager or on PC-3000 (no PHY) but it does show up in Safe Mode if I short the test points.
At the moment I don't have the latest update for PC-3000, I only have Version 7.7.21 and I see that PS2251-17 is on the list of supported SSD controllers. What I want to know is does anyone have any experience with this controller and can data be recovered with the new update.

Hello Dan.
This drive and controller are fully supported in 7.8x software update on Portable III and Portable PRO. With the help of USB Utility, it became possible to recover it with no problem. We get a very good statistic regarding the success rate on these drives.

Thanks Roman, I watched the video when it came out but I forgot that the demo drive had the same controller
. The drive is with the customer, I'll let them know that is possible
