SCSI Disk Cloning

Postby meow » 06.12.07, 04:25

While using the universal utility to clone a SCSI disk, I did not see any settings for number of "retry". If I need to optimize the cloning of data (ie can go slower but want to copy as much data as possible), how do I configure the settings ?

The SCSI disk had lots of CRC errors.

The quantity of hardware repetitions of reading can be set in command Mode Select (Tests-HDD Configuration-Mode Select Command) - Read Retry Count. This counter can accept value 1-255.
