Password Issue for Hitachi 2.5"

Dear Support,
where Hitachi SAVES the password in 2.5 hdd`s?
is it in Clear Text inside the security Mod.? or Encrypted somewhere? or how does it save it?
I managed to access Modules of locked hitachi 2.5 without removing the password and i was wondering where i can READ IT????
