Head swapping for generation code C

Hello,
Anybody have good result for swapping head with generation code C Hitachi drive (ex : HDS721016CLA382) ?
I tried with many good spare drive and I never had good result.
Drive start calibrate and give ready status slowly with not reading ID.
Any help or idea ?
