Have this DISK :
PATIENTE:
HTS421260H9AT00
P/N : 0A26306
MLC: DA1303
NOV-05
DONOR:
HTS421260H9AT00
P/N : 0A26306
MLC: DA1303
JAN-06
This disk change the heads but could not get ID, put back the heads in the donor disk and it work ?
What can be here ? with this heads the disk start to make some cliks...
DONOR 2: (This one the MLC is differente)
HTS421260H9AT00
P/N : 0A27466
MLC: DA1440
FEB-06
This disk also dont work, but when put the heads in the donor it work again.
Anyone have a case like this before ?

yes, most probably media damage making it impossible to start the disk.
Had some cases like this too. Nothing helps to solve it. I had to give up.

Hi Dobre,
The original disk was weak head, i could copy some sectors OK, whem the heads die.
This week will recevied more disk to test it.

Hi again,
I am having some problems in matching the heads in the hitachi notebook disk,
I have 3 different models that i match the MLC and i can not have ID.
If i put the heads again in the donor they work, i can have ID.
Anyone have this problems.
Any solution for this ?

media damage... ot maybe there is too much bad sector in SA Area caused impossible to initiallized completely... Got No Idea for this problem
