Hi all

Normaly working with PC-3000UDMA and have trouble with an IBM AVER hd.

Any words to the chain.
Becouse my PC-3000UDMA are busy with two othe HD i'm working with the old PC-3000ISA
The dirve don't nocking, but becomes not ready.
..the driveparameters could noct be read.
First time, i have saved all modules, ROM and NV-RAM.
then i take restore of firmware zone.
Now i never could writing back any modules.

Later the PC-3000UDMA are free, so i copy the modules nv-ram and ROM to this PC.
In save mode i can start the utilty but not in normal mode. "Techno-mode key error"
Why i could read and write the NVRAM in save-mode and not in normal mode?

Any ideas??

Dear Bruno,

First of all make sure that you choose AVER at launching utility.
Second, when you choose AVER, try to press "Start Utility" button 2-3 times. See the result, it should enter the Utility.

Thanks for your answer.
I connect the hd to ATA0, then klick on the Power on Button.
For maybe 2 seconds the BSY lights blue, then the DRD and DSC light blue.
Now select HITACHI IBM HGST and HITACHI IBM and try to run Utility.
Instantly the ERR and ABR licht red, and the DRQ lights blue. "HDD ID has not been read. Run utility? I press the button "yes".
"cannot idetify HD family", i press the button "ok".
In the new window i seleect 3.5" AVER.
Now I have try to press "Start Utility" more then 20 times. The AVER Utility don't start with this hd in normal mode. Techno-mode key ...error.

????
What can i do??
