Hello,
Thanks for you reply.
I tried this,it works but if i am trying to make image after some time (1-2 mins ) Hdd again goes in Bsy state again .
After that it repeats issue i cant able to make image.
If i tried after keeping hdd off for some time again repeats procedure then it copies image for 1-2 mins but same issue.
kindly help
Manish

Re: Samsung HM161GI BSY
Did you try to change reading mode and adjust parameters such as wait times for reading? Maybe this will help.

Re: Samsung HM161GI BSY
My guess is that the drive starts to read the platters and can't do so, because of media defects. So it starts to put them on A-List until it overflows. When the drive stay stuck because it can't read you power it off and on and the A-List will be damaged and cause the LED 1A04 error.
If you have a DDI you can try to fix the drive with PC3K and as soon as you clear the A-List with UDMA you just power off the drive, plug it to the DDI and start REVERSE cloning.
If the drive gets "stuck" again check with hex editor if you have copied any data at all and report back.
Maybe one head is gone and when drive starts reading with that head will consider the platter as defected (can't read) and add the sectors to A-list. If you can clone from the end of the drive to the start and get a considerable amount of data then the problem might be a patch of bad sectors/track on platter. If you can't clone from reverse but you get "some" data one head might be causing the issue. If you don't get any data at all even with reverse cloning the problem will be elsewhere ....

But not worked but after that i pluged it again to pc3k and started reverse imaging .worked and made image.
Thanks alot for your valuable help

Cool !
Glad it worked at the end !
Were you able to get all the data ? Did you use DDI4 to do the reverse imaging on the 2nd time ?
