Hi
Testing the heads of a HN-M101MBB samsung HDD shows that "Head 3" is failed.
is there any way to remove the faulty head?(it doesn't matter if some space is lost)
it is possible to remove it by changing the head map but it's not permanent!

For recovery, there is option to initialise with modified head map for Samsung. Also, hot-swap should be a possibility for you assuming you can swap initially and read patient SA to prepare donor.

For repair, im not so sure.

I'm not going to do recovery, I just want to make the drive functional
