Situation:
At power-on ONLY LED BSY is constantly active!
After testing and change the following components (I have a identical HDD):
PCB, Heads (complet with magnet), initialize the HDD and I could access it through the normal Samsung tools.
Then I read ROM, ...
Everything is working normally.

Now = DataExt. started and launched Explorer, open the Explorer.
I tried to open the file list (root), HDD went to BUSY.
I've tried soft reset, hard reset, HDD does not respond.
I rebooted and left all the initialization for a long time.
After the last minutes of trading, initialize the HDD.
I tried again Samsung Tools and in this situation, now load modules from SA:

Sometimes I have a BSY LEd and afther (maybe 5min) Led BSY is OFF and HDD is OK!
Again entered the DataExt., Explorer, ...

Foe exampe I want to save a folder "SLIKE I SNIMCI", I check and click on Save Marked = Led BSY is ON!!!
I hear from HDD: bzzz, bzzzz, tk, tk, tk, tk! Again and again.
In one situation I have a ERROR:

Now no matter what I try to do with him, he went to work and automatically BUSY Soft reset, several times and HDD again came to the "normal" state, but they can change with it, because every time I try something, HDD
always restarts (Soft).
WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Hello
I have the same issue with a drive I have here, same model number.. I was trying to see if there is any solution for this issue but I didn´t find anything beside your post.
Best thing to do is..
When you are inside data extractor go to "error handling" and select soft reset and turn off/on.
In the "loss of reediness" tab, on the waiting for reediness after power on increase the value to 100000 because the drive takes a wile to become ready.
Select just the soft reset and turn off/on.
It will be slow because the drive can read for a short time but it worked fine in my case.
