need rom samsung HM100UI/Z4

i am in need of a ROM for samsung HM100UI/Z4.

customer drive has corrupt ROM and cannot be swapped onto donor drive.

any help would be greatly appreciated

You should hotswap this as you dont know the specific ROM version you need.

and what modules do i write to my donor PCB?

i have done simple hot swap to read the modules off of my patient drive, now i just need to write modules back to donor but don't know which ones. the samsung hot swap guide doesn't seem to cover this drive

Critical Modules Only

i understand critical modules only, and this might sound like a noob question. but what are the critical modules on this drive, or how can i look at PC3000 and tell which ones are critical?

I mean hotswap to get access to patient SA so you can write overlays compatible with alternative ROM you want to use.

For this model I am not sure what to write for data access, I believe it is all modules except overlays, but not tested it myself.

Safest option is modify overlays to match donor PCB / ROM

and this is the problem, neither do I.

and i only have one donor and don't really want to risk cooking my only donor. so have to be positive on modules have to be written

I think you are missing my point. No modules need to be written to donor. Only donor overlays written to patient SA to allow donor ROM to become consistent with internal overlays and allow initialise of HDD

well i got it up and running by writing all patient modules with importance of "A" to donor and then doing a hot swap.

i now have access to all user data and it is transferring to my server

you are correct, but nowhere on this forum or even the manual did i find that the critical modules were the "A" modules, i had to get this information from another forum

Will you kindly help me with the process with which you were able to solve the above case.
Specially which overlays modules to be written to the patient allow donor ROM to become consistent with internal overlays and allow initialize of HDD.
