Do you know where SA is located on this disk?

I have recovered samsubg drives with similar scraches, but generally the scratches are more in the middle of the media. If SA is not stored where scratch is, then it may be possible to recover some information.

Dear ZeBong,

First of all - SA is situated on the border of the platter. So as I see it isn't damaged.
Second - It is really necessary to know what happened with the surface under 0 Head!
Third - What happens with the drive when you power it on?
Forth - if the 0 Head and the surface under it are Ok, the drive shall read. If you would like to do a Head Swap you need somehow to take out the Heads from parking zone while you will rotate the platter ( Because they shouldn't stuck ).After that you should power on. Then the 5-th Head probably will be intact.
Also if the drive won't get ready status, because of the errors on the 5-th Head, you can make Hot Swap ( Method was described in forum ) and create a Head Map without the 5-th Head.

Regards.
