SAMSUNG HM120JC

Hello,

Have a Samsung case that the head where stuck in the platte, when i remove it very slow to the park zone, and turn on the disk, i get the ID DRD/DSC, and i could start copy some sectors green with DE.

Afther a while, it start to give error.
i Stop the disk them see the terminal and appear this:

In the manual says:
0x13 - Head Unlatch error

It looks like head problem, the question is if i change heads will they work ok?

Hi,

in most of the cases this relates to head/preamp problem, most likely head.

I agree with pepe. Heads were parked incorrectly on media, I assume client had powered many times before sending to a pro, and head has sustained damage.

replace heads
