WD10EARX LDR File Needed (ROM F/W 00510022)

Good day,

We have a Western Digital that gives a (0)MB capacity problem and we can't access the modules. For this we would need the LDR-File, which we unfortunately do not have.

We have contacted Technical Support, but they do not have such a file available and suggested we source it from the Forum.

Firmware Version on ROM is: 00510022

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Does the media 'click', or spindle shut down? Is PCB original?

What is the family, I can check for matching FW revision if you tell me family.

Thanks for getting back to us.

It does spin up and comes ready.
Utility can be read and not spinning down.
PCB board is native.

The Full specs of the HDD is Western Digital 3.5"1TB SATA

Family: Sadle 2D
64MB Cache
Date: 7 Sept 2011
Manufactured in Thailand

I dont have the version you need.

Can you read DIR module if pins TV9 and TV10 are shorted?
If SA regions in ROM are blocked, can you enter utility and load DIR from surface?
If you have some other donor you can use (in some cases) donor ROM and donor LDR to access patient SA modules
