I have one wd10jmvw-11ajgs1 hdd. It is detecting perfectly but does not find Family type in WD usb utility.

I have converted it in sata after that it shows error
"HDD Ram's Reading error - device erro detected " Error code :4f10"

what is mean by Error code 4F10.
How to take SAbackup.

Thanks,

It means SA is encrypted and vendor commands are blocked. This is common on new models like Firebird LT.

Means - Sata conversion will not work for this type of hdd.

The Hdd has one head damage. I would like to disable it in Ram.

What will be solution?

Thanks,

It is possible to reach SA and RAM/ROM but I think its not possible to adjust head map in RAM with drive initialise normally. Maybe key is to find some non SA-encrypting model that you can write patient adaptives only to then hotswap, but so far I have not tried this...

Firebird LT I think this model is. Maybe you could HS with firebird (non-LT) which I guess would not have encrypted SA

Start the drive in Kernel mode
Block SA access
Load DIR in RAM
read module by ID

I have got the same issue.
Did you manage to gain access to SA?
How do you block access to SA in kernel mode?

Will hotswap with similar donor will give me access to the SA?
or each drive has a unique key for its SA?

Today I got the same error, after a PCB swap...
I'll try your suggestions.
An answer from ACE support would also be great...

Edit: The paper under the MHA didn't solved...
