Drive direct show kernel mode in PC3K

Hi, i'd found a weire drive. As we know we need to put in the jumper in order to make the drive in kernel mode environment. But this drive without insert the jumper, once I connected to PC3K, it auto go into kernel mode and the ID information not read. It is a lock drive or freeze drive? Or the hardware problem?

I have a similar model drive which is working fine, try to read all the SA mudules, and tranfer into problematic drive mention above, it failed to write the modules. One of the error message is "Physical read error C/H/S, Device Error Detected, VSCE KEY SECTOR MUST PRECEED DATA XFER REQUEST" ...

From the problematic drive I found the master password writtien as "PACE FRANCE Master Security PWD4"

Model Number is : WD50000AVCS-632DY1
Family is Dragon Fly 1
