WDC WD2500AAJS-75M0A0

Hello

Hi all me and a friend have been checking this hdd out and there's somethings we don't understand why is happening, if we try to scan the surface of the drive we cant read any sectors at all. This hdd was brought to me by another DR company that did a head swap, it seems the head swap was done OK, we are able to see a couple of modules but not all of them, module 31 and 33 are bad has you can see in the picture here:

Can we use the WD Marvell Dir module editing in this type of situation?

Another thing is when we do a head test we get this.

Heads test
Cylinder to test........................ : -10
Heads to test........................... : 0,1
Head 0.................................. : Error W : 0;R : 6
Head 1.................................. : Error W : 0;R : 2

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you

What happens if you read in composite? Did you try to secure translator and adaptive modules under composite reading?
