As you know, there is password for latest WD portable HDD. (ex: my book essential...)
However, it is no way to solve if I forget the password.

Do you know any solution for that case?

If Smartware PW is active and not known there is no way to un-SHA the key

Now I have to ask : is AceLab team working on a integrated solution for theise cases ?

The key has no relevance to the encrypted information, only to the key. So a workaround with the encrypted data and key only could be possible, but your solution is applied while the key is hashed and VCD is present, this is why I have my doubts.
