can you please help to read a WD3200AV V S


Service area:
SA dir reading.......................... : Device error detected SCT DATA XFER CMD ISSUED WO SCT KEYSECTOR CMD
Configuration reading................... : Module 02 not found

WHAT THIS MEAN ?

In general, that means WD Drive is not able to reach 02 configuration module from surface.
Haven't got any certain WD errors descriptions unfortunately.

This is a symptom, not a problem.

You need to identify exactly what the cause of this is. Does HDD knock on powering? Does it allow you to load SPT? Does sipndle remain powered? After DRDY is reached, are any errors lit in status register?

Hi all,
I have this same Issue with a drive.

Powers up fine, can feel it get ready. can ID the drive ok, no error lights until I press Autodetect.


Then the same message is displayed instantly.

Its a WD6400AAKS-22A7B2 with 01.03B01 Firmware.

Anyone find out how to solve this issue?

I tried to upload loader and i get same message also

You can potentially reach SA with several methods such as adjustment of ABA region in conjunction with use of loader, HotSwap, short circuit and access via non native ROM.

What have you tried already to gain SA access?
