Connected the wd USB drive with com-port and get access to SA, model and serial number correctly, but not by USB and OS. How to mirror the drive by com-port? Tried data extractor, could not detect by port 1 and 2, but no USB port. Also, can I use heads map to mirror drive by USB port? Thx

Tell me, is there the drive ID and capacity shown in PC-3000? If yes, then setting "read over active PC-3000" should work.

Hello Roustam.

I connect a WD USB HDD 1 TB (WD10TMVW, no access over USB) with the terminal and a Toshiba-adapter (thank you for your good information about). I can read drive ID and capacity.

But what do you mean with setting "read over active PC-3000" should work. Where I can do this setting? Sorry I am not such a big specialist in special functions of PC3000.

Can I do it in the "Uttility selection"? My big question: How to start a copy over terminal?

Greetings
Frank

I found "read over active PC-3000" in DE :-). Before I must write the LBA into and I started to copy. (In the DE is written no ID, only LBA) But it works very slowly (30.000 sectors/ 30 minutes). Is that the right and only way?

I build head map, that works fine - ca. 1 hour. Hope I did it correct.

How can I do the sector-copy faster? When I start the utility to read the WD USB drive over terminal - there are two rates available 115200 or 447500. Only 115200 works.

Exist a trick to copy faster?
