Previously a clicking drive which was found to be a result of a corrupt ROM on the PCB. We then managed to hot swap to access the SA. All mods are good. We prepared the donor drive with the translator mods from the patient drive but was still unable to access the data area with hot swap. We then wrote mod 11 from donor to patient which means we can now get the drive to ID with serial and model number. But we still cannot get into the data area of the drive.
Any further suggestions please ....

This is from HAWK family, which is Marvel disk. Writing on translator modules only to donor works well with pre-marvel, but in this case I think your donor needs more than translator modules written.
