Hi datarecovery-experts

In case of any trials i write ROMfile from WD-Spider in WD-Gekko. After switch off and on the drive dont spinup.(BSY DSC and DRQ is light). This drive is not going in save mode. equal with or without savemode jumpers.
Is there a way to write the correct ROM. I have saved bevor the experiment's.

In the time of making trial with gekko SA repair and headmap experiments i would be solve a failure by writeback the saved ROM. Shame on, i have select the false ROM....
And now, you have an idee, to writeback the original ROM?
There is not a datarecovery case, only interesting.

when accessing this Forum... I need to repost many time.. it is very slow. and sometime rejected....

I think if yiou have external ROM programming. You can try to write it back using that tool. if not. the solution is try to resolder it to spider Board or solder original gekko ROM to Gekko Board. and write back. I dont think it will work.. But at least give it a try
