Hello,

Have this disk when i connect it it dont spin, it satys BSY.

I connect in safe mode and it detect this:

I notice that the serial is not correct.

Hello.

WD400BB-60DGA0 belongs to Eclipse QD family. The procedure for this case is common, first you need trying to swap the PCB(donor should belong to same family i.e. WDxxxxx-xxDGxx). It may happen donor drive's ROM version will differ from patient. In this case you should rewrite ROM in kernel mode.

If PCB swap does not help you, Head swap is required for this case. Do not forget to open this drive in a clean room and look for scratches or any traces of scratches before purchasing a donor. Please write back if you were successful or not with this case.
