Hello,
This disk when connect to the pc3kumda dont give ID
So i have to do head map to head 6 and 7.
Now i can have the ID correct and the LBA size correct.
When i enter in the DE i try to edit sector 63, but i have dark green error ECC ERROR.
I know that i have 8 heads but are using 6 heads.

Re: WD5000KS-55MNB0 - How to use the head map to get DATA
You can't.
You have to swap heads.
Head map is useful for diagnosis, but now for data recover.
