WD3200AAJS-00L7A0 SA PB - wiered dialog box

Postby sosrecup » 20.01.13, 08:55

Hello All,

I have a WD3200AAJS-00L7A0, after a power shutdown, the drive is no longer recognized by Windows and when I power it, it click few times then it reaches readiness. But when I lunch the utility, it shows me the dialog box in photo 1.jpg:

The utility log screen shows:
##########################################################
Techno mode key
Techno mode key......................... : Ok

RAM:
HDD Info reading........................ : Ok
Heads number............................ : 1
Cyl Count............................... : 170

ROM:
ROM reading............................. : Ok
ROM Data size........................... : 192 Kb
ROM version............................. : 03.E4E
ROM generation.......................... : 03.E4E
Link table version...................... : 04.0B.
Consolidated ROM version................ : 000300E4

ROM Modules:
Flash ROM dir reading................... : Ok
Modules directory address............... : FIXED
SA regions address...................... : by default

SA Translator loading................... : Ok
SA defects assigned..................... : 1

Heads configuration..................... : by map
Heads number............................ : 1
Heads number in use..................... : 1
Switched off heads...................... : No

############################################################

The utility doesn’t read drive ID.

When I put 03 jumpers and I choose the Kernel mode and I try to read SA by ABR, it shows me the log in 2.png

I think the problem is in the SA. Does the hotswap procedure resolve the problem? or should I use a loader file? if yes anyone who can provide a loader file of this model please.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards
Lamine
