wd2500jb wd1600jb - Bug? ver 5

Hi

I have pc3k ver 5.
I have 2 wd drives
wd2500jb
wd1600jb

wd2500 comes ready, sounds great, sa looks great but sector edit is greyed out.
wd1600 comes ready, sounds great, some mods in service area claim to have header error.
I dont see anything wrong with the headers, in fact I did a byte comaprison of the same mod from another
drive that worked and its byte for byte identical - except for date code and cs.
cs is good.
sector edit is greyed out.

But guess what....
Both drives clone fine using ddi.
I dont think there is anything wrong with the drives.

It looks like a problem with the pc3k software.

I can hook it up and you guys can dial in and check it out.

I noticed this also. Didn't note the mods or model drive, but will next time I see it. Drive had 2 "bad" mods (header errors), but they looked fine and drive cloned no problem.
