Rom adaptives to be moved of donor drive after head replace

hi everyone,
Pls anybody explain for replacing heads in seagate 7200.12,5400.6,7200.14,LP,Green and also seagate samsung M8,M8E etc models really requires head adaptives .After performing physical replacement of head from donor to patient do we require any rom adaptives or head adaptives if any than how to get it.Because in many cases after replacing heads drives works fine for few mintues and than again clicking.In many cases drive cant spin after head replacing in most samsung m8,m8e etc models.So pls share this if you got very good success in data repcry after head replacement.
