Hi,

I have the above harddisk. Firmware : JC45. P/N:9YP154-516.
The PCB is 100574451 Rev A.

The harddisk can be detected by PC3K when powered on. But when I tried to go to Data Extractor, the harddisk becomes BSY.

Do I need to short any points in the PCB?

Probably it is SMART error. Can you reach Terminal T> in utility?

I have same problem. I cant reach t> terminal. Please give supported firmware files for upgrading.

Enter utility without power to HDD, open terminal tab, power on, when ready press CTRL+Z for terminal prompt, if not possible then then hold CTRL+Z to reach T> shortly after power on. At terminal, send command to clear SMART.
