bootcode shorting technique

this technique allows access to the rom.

It works by temporarily replacing the factory bootcode with some new instructions.
If you interrupt the process it will kill the board.
The rom is still ok.
But the bootcode (which I think is stored in the CPU is corrupted).

So dont repower or your board will be dead....

ace developers say this isnt possible, that if the board dies it may be because I shorted the wrong points - that is possible,
its easy to slip while shorting the points.

anybody notice anything similar

with the last version I've read, written, and edited the ROM via boot code without any shorting.
