I have a Seagate ST9500325AS spins but not detected under Windows .
PC 3000 gives the message:

Hello Hoang,

Try to isolate spindle motor contact and reach terminal. Then you have to make backup and try to regenerate translator.

I used Tests -> User commands -> Translator regeneration

Log in:

Executing user command ..................: Translator regeneration
Terminal: reply timeout error
LED: 000000CC FAddr: 0025AF5B

You cant regen translator while isolated because with PCB detached SA cant read. You need to reach T> after isolated, then send spindown command before reconnecting PCB to HDA. Only then you can reach SA
