Did you take over native ROM chip to donor PCB?

If after terminal output you get no further prompt, or cannot reach T>, then is because of contaminated or failed heads.

I guess you are new to DR

All disk drives have some unique information onboard PCB, sometimes it is embedded into larger chips such as the main processor, othertimes it is an external chip that can be transferred to a similar PCB to maintain adaptive information and allow the old drive to operate with new board.

Post a photo of your board here, or if you are not comfortable with soldering outsource it. In some cases for this model you can get away with a direct swap with no transfer of ROM, but this is dependant on ROM information being relatively similar and of same ROM revision. For your case it seems this is not the same.
