I need to recover data from a Seagate ST2000DM.

Hdd do not knock, i can ear motor startup end it go to ready, but utility cannot recognize it.
I see follow on Terminal report :

Boot 0x40M
Spin Up
TCC-0018[0x00026F7C][0x000273E8][0x00027854]
Trans.

Rst 0x40M
MC Internal LPC Process
Spin Up
TCC-0018
(P) SATA Reset

MCMTFileHandler: EXCEPTION: Failed MCMT read request
MCMTFileHandler: EXCEPTION: Failed MCMT read request
MCMainPOR: EXCEPTION: SIM aborted prior to MCMT read
MCMainPOR: EXCEPTION: POR Failed General
MCMainPOR: Feature Disabled...

I have Terminal access with CTRL-Z and i trie Smart Clear and translation regeneration. Either end well, but nothing change for ID problem.

Some one can help me ?

Thank you

Maybe your problem deals with media cash.
Try to reset media cash log.

Tnks Dima for your answer, but my problem is that i cannot switch off tick at "Media Cashe", because when i try Tests->Service Information->Work with service area->Edit HDD ID i have follow error :

Error Starting Command "En Tech" (ABR)

and DRD, DWF, DSC and ERR Status Register LED, light on.

For clear my situation, follow full terminal log :

MC Internal LPC Process
Spin Up
TCC-0015
(P) SATA Reset

MCMTFileHandler: EXCEPTION: Failed MCMT read request
MCMTFileHandler: EXCEPTION: Failed MCMT read request
MCMainPOR: EXCEPTION: SIM aborted prior to MCMT read
MCMainPOR: EXCEPTION: POR Failed General
MCMainPOR: Feature Disabled...
PowerState = IDLE1
PowerState = IDLE2

(After i try to switch off tick at "Media Cashe", i have follow terminal log)

HighPowerMode
TCC-0016Status 0001 Req 0006
Dither
TCC-0016
Dither
TCC-0017
Dither
TCC-0017
Dither
TCC-0017
Dither

After this, for have again ready status, i need to send a Software Reset, but after if i try any command or operation i have always Error Starting Command "En Tech" (ABR) error.

If you can't write modules, then problem may be caused by damaged heads.
