i have a hdd in the following specification :
MAXTOR STM3250310AS
FW: 3.AAF
250GB
DiamondMax 21
Site: SU
the fuses on the PCB was burnt , i had exactly same PCB . after resoldering ROM from patient to donor PCB and screwing new PCB to HDA and connecting it to power supply
i saw that it doesn't spin up . i am pretty sure that the new PCB is healthy , IS THAT POSSIBLE THE NATIVE ROM CHIP WAS BROKEN
CAN ANY BODY HELP ME

ROM on this model is not adaptive and can be replaced with compatible ROM. You have similar ROM you can try from your database? Can you read App code from surface with non native PCB + ROM ?
