Hello.
Usually, common Seagate F3 procedure is advised in this situation.
First, check if the drive is clicking and make strange noises. If it does, remove its top lid and
check inside if drive has scratch on top platter and there are any traces of scobs and small metal parts in it.
If it is everything ok with Platters, put lid back, take out drive's PCB, install patient ROM chip to donors logic board and try this board
on your patient drive.
If the situation will not change, try taking donor heads with magnets to patient drive.
