Terminal commands for F3 stays busy.

I have a 7200.12 that spins up and clicks, and does not become ready.

It is a firmware JC45

I have had these in the past (not this firmware) that just need the 0000000CC solution.

When I try this with this drive, the drive does everything that it needs to including spin down when shorting the points.

When I click ready, it does as it should, and tries to spin up, but does not spin up, then times out.

i would like to do this process manually, so can I have someone give me a step by step in terminal commands:
e.g.: Ctrl-Z
/2
etc

It should in most cases show DRDY

If it clicks but remains powered you should make sure PCB is native.

Time out occurs becuase you (probably) are using automated solution. Using Terminal most likely will not time out.

If you make short circuit then spin down and spin up without error then possibly has some SA failure, or again maybe PCB is not native. Press 'CTRL+L' at T> will tell you native SN.

If you see hardware error such as 'RW error 8410580' or similar then possible damage is physical (mechanical)
