The drive gets DRD DRC without any clicking but does not ID.
the terminal output of the drive startup is



Without any LED error.
After (P) SATA Reset terminal freezes
i tried shorting the R/W channel they drive remained BSY and i had access to the terminal
it spins up and down ok
I can see Alt list , P-list..
what should i do next?

What is this hard drive Fw version?
Also, haven't you tried to run translator regeneration command?
It is launched over ATA and could help you to solve this problem.

Before translator how we can backup FW ?
Your answer are appreciated .

Make sure you save output of 'V40' list before you attempt it, no need to backup anything else
