I noticed with a 5400.6 drive, that the "original" translator resources are NOT restored when you write them back from the database.
Can anything be done to return a drive to the original "as failed" condition to start again?
Thank you.

Re: Translator repair concerns
Hello.
It may happen the drive heads cannot write well and translator was not writen. Anyway you should try to copy 2B module from profile to drive and then read it back from drive to check what was really written.
Also try to check terminal output after that module was written and after translator regeneration. If it contains error messages, please post them here.
