Here is some necessary information that you need to know when you make the PCB Swap:
Seagate U6 - visually the same PCB + resolder ROM or take PCB with the same ROM version.
Seagate U5 - choose PCB by FW, without ROM resolder.
Seagate U5, Barracuda 1,2,3,4 - should be visually the same PCB, spindle motor chip, ROM/firmaware, read channel chip.
Barracuda 5/U7 - same ROM version.
Barracuda 7200.8 aˆ†similar look and firmware version should be the same.
