Seagate problem after headswap
Posted: 12.02.08, 11:12
Hi,
I've got a Seagate ST380819AS with firmware: 8.04.
Initially drive knocked and terminal showed up head related problem, so I swapped heads.
Now I've got this terminal report:
Interface task reset
4096k x 16 buffer detected
PUMA2 - 1_Disk 0.03 12-19-05 10:45
Head Mask FFFF - Switch to full int.
Spin Ready
8.04 12-19-05 10:47 4096k x 16 buffer
(P)Not Interface Age!
DiskAccess ReadSector EC=43 at ffffffff.00.0000
DiskAccess ReadSector EC=43 at ffffffff.00.0000
INVALID Cert Disk Code - ROM Resident Revision Required: 8.04
Command Inactive - No VALID Cert Code Detected
T>
Does this mean pcb is damaged as well ?
Thanks.
