I have this message : "Invalid CERT Disk code"
I use PC3000 UDMA Seagate Utilities for verify and I have the same message when I want to load CERT.
At this moment I can read sector on drive !
After I switch HDD to ATA mode (age=50) drive not ready and I have this message :

Not interface Age !

I`m afraid that System setors was damaged while transition into 50 operation.
Now you can try to change PCB and heads but... chances not so high.
Plz put here current full power-up terminal log

Try writing Cert code from a hdd with same code eg 3.AAE using the SDLD function in pc3k .
