Seagate PCB swap between SATA and PATA drives

I have here a Seagate ST3320820A with damaged PCB, but I can only find in a supplier a ST3320820AS PCB with same firmware.

Anyone has already tested to check if theyaˆ™re compatible?

some of these drives has universal firmware for both SATA and PATA.

but for 100% compartibilty the drives should belong to same interfaces
