Using FW copy to access data

Postby odedshankar » 17.11.14, 06:26

Hi Guys,

I have a Seagate ST1000DM003 1CH162-300 FW:CC43.
Drive had beads heads.
I swapped the heads with a good set and drive started and i managed to read ROM and FW.
I started to image the data carefully but the heads dies again and it doesn't get ready now.
is there some way with this family to use the Extracted fw to load into RAM or something similar in order to try and keep imaging?

Hi Dima,

I don't have access to the Terminal as heads are dead again.
\What should i expect to see after the \7X command?
