Momentus "thin" 250gb

This is just the second one of these we have seen, the other was a 320gb which just had bad sectors.

This one comes DRDY but any attempt to ID or read LBA or access SA just makes it go BSY and stay there.

I can get it to ID by powering up and quickly staring utility before it comes DRDY, then it ID's fully with model, S/N and capacity.

Can access terminal if I Ctrl-Z while it's powering up and can enter terminal commands normally.

Smart reset.... OK
V40... No non-res defects
V4... Defects list looks ok
Clear glist... Ok
Regen translator...ok

None of this makes any difference?
